His consulting services focus on the taxation of large family fortunes in the business and private sectors, the structuring of corporate succession and asset structuring, succession and generational management, and organizational and structural consulting for family offices.
He is co-editor of a major commentary on the German Income Tax Act (EStG) and the Family Office Handbook published by C.H. Beck, a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Institute of Tax Advisors in Hesse, and the author of numerous publications.
He was also an expert member of the German Bundestag’s Finance Committee. In addition, he holds various supervisory board and advisory board positions at family-owned companies.
Previously, Prof. Dr. Swen Bäuml was a partner at one of the international Big Four and head of the tax department at the family office of the family-owned company Boehringer Ingelheim, among other positions.
